Matt Norrey is a senior industrial relations executive and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise bargaining, industrial strategy and dispute resolution across highly unionised and operationally complex environments. He has led and advised organisations through major bargaining negotiations, industrial disputes, workforce transformation initiatives and sensitive stakeholder matters across both private and public sector environments.
Matt previously held senior Head of Employee Relations roles, leading national employee relations strategy, enterprise bargaining, executive advisory and industrial dispute management across large operational workforces. Prior to this, he served as Branch Secretary of one of Australia’s largest unions, leading industrial strategy, enterprise bargaining campaigns, governance and organisational leadership. This combination of employer side executive leadership and prior union executive experience provides rare insight into bargaining dynamics, stakeholder behaviour and industrial strategy, strengthening the ability to deliver commercially grounded advice, disciplined negotiation strategy and practical workplace outcomes.
